As a Seller you have the option to use Mtaani for shipping your items. Below you can find the step on how to enable it on your listings and how to ship an order with Mtaani.
Enable Mtaani delivery on your listings
(You can skip this step in case you've already enabled Mtaani on your listings)
- Click on the listing you wish to offer Mtaani delivery--> Edit item--> enable Mtaani
- Select the area, location and agent depending on from where you wish to drop off the item. You can check if there's any Pickup Mtaani Agents near you HERE
Once you've changed the changes, Buyers can purchase the item with Mtaani delivery.
Shipping an order with Mtaani
1. Pack your item securely to avoid any damage during transit. Mtaani agents do not provide packing materials, so you need to bring the item already packed.
2. Write the Buyer's delivery details on the package. You can find the details from Menu--> My shop orders--> Details.
3. Drop off the item at your selected Pickup Mtaani Agent location and show the agent the Receipt number which can be found under Menu--> My shop orders--> Details.
4. There is no need to tap “item shipped” as the order status will be updated automatically. The Buyer’s “My purchases” detail screen will be automatically updated with the tracking number as well.
5. You can track the parcel by clicking on the Tracking number seen under Menu--> My shop orders--> Details.
6. The Buyer will receive a message from Mtaani once the parcel has arrived. The money will be released to your Yaga wallet once the order has been completed in Yaga.
PS! In case the item has not been collected for 3 days, the item is moved to Mtaani HQ--> Mtaani contacts the Seller to arrange the return/pickup of the item at the Seller’s cost.
If a Buyer doesn't collect the parcel in time and it gets returned to the Seller, then the Seller is eligible for compensation for the courier costs that have occurred. The Seller will be asked to provide proof of the incurred courier costs and proof that correct delivery information was used in the first place. The Seller will be reimbursed once they have received the parcel back and this amount is charged from the Buyer's pending payment. The remaining is refunded to the Buyer.
If the item is not collected in 7 days, the item will be disposed.
